RO EDI System

An RO EDI System is an advanced water purification solution that integrates Reverse Osmosis (RO) and Electrodeionization (EDI) technologies to produce ultra-pure water. The RO system removes the majority of dissolved salts, organic contaminants, and suspended impurities, while the EDI unit further polishes the water by eliminating residual ions through a continuous electrochemical process. This combination ensures exceptionally high water purity suitable for industries requiring stringent water quality standards.

  • Produces ultra-pure water by combining Reverse Osmosis (RO) and Electrodeionization (EDI) technologies.
  • Removes dissolved salts, ions, silica, and other impurities without the need for chemical regeneration.
  • Delivers consistent high-purity water for critical industrial and pharmaceutical applications.

The purification process begins with the RO membranes, which significantly reduce Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), hardness, and contaminants from the feed water. The RO permeate then enters the EDI module, where ion exchange resins and electrically charged membranes work together to remove remaining ionic impurities. Unlike conventional demineralization systems, EDI continuously regenerates the resin using electricity, eliminating the need for hazardous chemicals and reducing operational costs. The result is high-resistivity, low-conductivity water with excellent purity levels.

RO EDI Systems are highly efficient, environmentally friendly, and capable of delivering a continuous supply of ultra-pure water. They offer lower maintenance requirements, reduced chemical handling, and consistent water quality compared to traditional ion exchange systems. With proper operation and periodic maintenance, RO EDI systems provide a reliable and sustainable solution for industries that demand high-purity process water.
